Harley-Davidson is the iconic motorcycle brand of a US manufacturer with operations that date back to the start of the 20th century.  For its very first production, they built bikes meant for racing, and throughout decades, they managed to become the largest motorcycle company with a huge brand community as they continue to organise and sponsor clubs and international events.
   
Harley motorcycles are known for its originally heavyweight, air-cooled cruisers, with over 700cm³ engine displacements, but in the later years, they have undergone custom configurations to cater to the markets’ need for smaller and lighter motors.  
 
Despite the ageing baby boomers among Harley’s aficionados and following a disappointing Q4 2017 sales, Harley-Davidson Australia has announced its plan to roll out its electric motorcycles in the country by mid-2019.  It is optimistic that Harley electric bikes should be able to attract more customers as they are less challenging to use, and ride compared to the traditional motorcycles. 
 

Essential 

  1. Australian-recognised trade qualification as a Motorcycle Mechanic 
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic within the last 5 years
  3. Excellent diagnostic skills and proficiency in all motorcycle repair work
  4. Good English communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Current road motorcycle license
     

Desirable

  1. Experience in a Harley-Davidson authorised dealership
  2. Training certificate/s from Harley-Davidson manufacturer or dealer
